what's up fellows at most female fans steve alicia is here with the unboxing of the oneplus 9 5g. We also have some oneplus buds
z that was a pre-order bonus that we're going to go ahead and unbox as well. So, we're going to unbox the. device i'm going to pause there sim in it all my information and my apps and get some initial impressions of the os and of the device itself . how smooth it is how it's running then.Ofcourse i'm gonna use it and we're gonna get back with a fuller reviarticle o a couple days and then a week out and we're gonna talk there's a lot to talk about with this device and we're going to get to all of it .
So, let's unbox the buds z first interested 50 would be the normal price for this .They throw it in with the pre-order bonus for a one plus. I think you get a different version you get kind of a special edition version with the oneplus 9 pro .So we're just going to get a feel for these real quick.
I am m not going to power these ones up today but we can see what the uh what the general design and feel of them are. So, okay we open that box there do we have to do anything with this tab.We're just going to open it from here all right think we're okay all right
nice presentation along the lines of what you get from your galaxy buds and your apple buds. So, kind of along the lines of the apple product with the stem already got some charge to it this is kind of plastic to be perfectly honest the outside case not the greatest thing in the world but these these feel.
I'm not the biggest fan of earbuds but i'm going to compare them to the galaxy buds which i have here and i'm going to give them a fair shot.
I'm not going to hold that against them my subjective feelingson the earbuds themselves but that's basically what you get in the box .
Overall nice design with the stem, your charging pod there usbc in the back and i guess a pairing button that would be there.
So you got some accessories with that as well and nice the oneplus with the red with the red inserts the usbc charging that you get with this also your manuals get started stuff it might even tell us what that button is, if it's just to check the power indicator lamp setup button so that is a pairing button.
So, there you go that's what that would be used for, so let's put those aside now to the main event here it is the oneplus 9 i went for the oneplus 9 personally because i feel if you're not super into camera stuff that you could get all the performance that you'd want a flat display are you going to take a bit of a hit on the resolution of the display.
Yeah you're going to get that the 1080p display instead of the 2k the quad hd display same refresh rate, same battery size eight gigs of ram 125 .You could up that for 100 bucks more get yourself the 12 gig 256 gigs of storage but I think this is the deal and people are giving a real hard time to oneplus just because their devices used to be cheaper.
That's fine but i think this instead of comparing this to a you know samsung s21 ultra which would be the comparison for the pro with the camera and all the rest of it in this price range you're talking 729 dollars.
You're looking for a me competitor a me 11 competitor a xiaomi competitor and this i don't think we should be killing him for this is more accessible.
We''ll talk about this more in the full review but you could walk into a t-mobile in the united states and pick one of these up and pay 30 a month whatever the deal happens to be you can go on the oneplus website finance it buy it have it delivered to your door.
You're not dealing with ebay amazon a little later on aliexpress wondering is it the global version is the chinese rom version what
whatever there is an ease of use here in this price range for the flagship specs that you don't really get at least in the united states. So, right away I''m surprised by the weight of this guy I'm surprised by the weight.
We're going to go ahead and take this off take the sticker off so we
can get the full effect of the winter mist. I know i look the blue color is interesting not out yet or at least not maybe. It's a special edition something like that the silver i was kind of done with just
flashy mirror finish silver. Overall nice weight t, nice color, it hits you right away fingerprint magnet,but that's okay got the oneplus button nice and clicky solid.
I like it uh right away on the construction you could tell this is I could tell this is plastic ,I could tell this is plastic.

So, if that's something that bothers you perhaps this isn't the device for you i could tell that the frame is plastic a lot of them
sometimes ,Ican't they trick me a little bit this one. I can right away but this is very much glass i don't know why there was so much confusion about this but this hits you just right away as glass and it is quite nice and that flat display. It's about time
a flagship spec device it is back.
We're going to talk about the pixel 4 in a week or so i loved using the flat display again and I'm going to love having no curve. Whatsoever I'll take the 1080p, I'll take not getting a 2k display.
If it means having a nice flat panel so gonna power it up breeze through real quick .See what's going on,See how fluid it is and we'll be right back okay so let's get to that that's doing a thing for a second. Let's look at the rest of the box real quick a lot going on in there a bunch of cardboard is there .You're gonna get your manuals stuff like that for the cardboard then your charger your warp charger 65 watt warp charger. This is capable of that and then the oneplus nice red and white cable just been using this
for a few minutes and this is fast,this is fast it's noticeably fast okay. I've had I've had the samsung device for a while with 120 hertz display refresh rate a snapdragon 888 and Icould tell you
this is noticeably faster this is clean.

It's fast the display gets plenty bright,I know it's not going to get as bright as the pro nor is it going to get as bright as your s21 ultra but you're paying a heck of a lot less as well. If you can get by that plastic feeling I hate to say it but you do notice it .I hate to be picky like that but you do notice the plastic on the frame but otherwise really a premium device you take a hit with the lens but like I said you're not getting this to compete with camera i don't believe.
If you're getting that and you're getting the pro personally I would look more towards the s21 ultra .You're getting this one so save
the money to compete with the xiaomi device for a device that you want top tier price to performance that's accessible in the united states easily for most people but don't want to pay ,that flagship thousand dollar plus price.
Thiis is it quite nice let me know things that you want to see on it
for anything any specific app that you would like tested.See how it works but i can tell you plenty bright nice display, don't even notice that it's only 1080p. So, far and so silky smooth just going
through the operating system really nice really nice experience.I'm going to like this good size on it good weight not too heavy but anything is going to be not too heavy coming from
the s21 ultra basically which is basically lifting a truck around five pound weight .You're gonna get your workout lifting that one around quick around the device usbc sim tray speaker, volume up and down nothing really there.
Then you have your one plus button your notifications button which is really nice still clicky and then a very clicky solid sleep wake lock button which is quite nice fingerprint.
So far works well no issues but like I said we're going to test everything. We're going to get everything loaded up on here we're going to spend the week with it and get back to you on that. So if you've made it this far like comment all that fun stuff

If the oneplus 9 could handle besides looking pretty huh the winter mist is a definite, definite looker ,you're gonna want this.
One if you can keep it clean you know put a little clear case on it
